WHERE'S WALDO???

I made it to Macon, Georgia. Home of Mercer University, where my friend, Bowden, works as a Family Therapist. I traveled over 400 miles in one day, which I've decided in way too much driving in one day. However, having said that, I did quite well. I even stopped at a beautiful rest area just as I crossed over into Georgia, and got into my camper for a soda and an ice cream. What a DELIGHTFULL experience of being able to stop and enjoy a nice snack or meal in the comfort of my home on wheels.

Bowden met me at the exit as I pulled off in Macon and led me to his house so he could take me in the back way in order to park right in front of his and Deb's house. Deb is in Savannah, Ga. until Sunday, which gives Bowden and I plenty of time to reconnect. By way of knowing who this person is in my life, Bowden and I met while I was in an emotional release group and the group met in my home for about 2 years. Then Bowden and I decided to go through the entire emotional release training together, all three levels. He's one of my best male buddies.

So, here we go, with the fun part of my blog, the symmetricam pictures. As you can see on the left is my friend, we'll call Mr. Blockhead.

But, then Mr. Blockhead appears to be spinning out of control. Love the eyes on the side of his head.

My all-time favorite is this one. I told Bowden he reminds me of Odin, the Norse God. Bowden has a real warrior energy about him, he's got a stocky build and I can imagine him with a broadsword in his hand, wreaking havoc with the infidels.

This one turned out really interesting. Looks really phallic, but with eyes in the middle. Is that the brain around? Hmmmmm!!!! Gives a whole new perception of "thinking with his little brain!!!"

This morning, Friday, we very leisurely moved into our day with a bowl of granola with yogurt and fresh blueberries. Once we ventured out, we headed to the local pick-your-own farm and Bowden picked a bucket full of blackberries and I picked a third bucket of strawberries. For the most part the strawberries were mostly done, but I was able to find a few worth bending over for.

What a hunk of burning love!!! I shampooed my hair this morning and let it air dry.

One of our last stops of the day was this coffee shop close to where Bowden and Deb live, close to where Mercer University sits. Since the summer session is on at the school, the coffee has gone to summer hours and we got there 10 minutes to closing time. Bowden and I both wondered where our day had gone to because by this time it's already 5pm.

One thing I noticed along my journey yesterday was how full all the rivers, creeks and streams are. Some of them were breathtakingly beautiful. I had never been on the Natchez Trace Parkway and was able to see a portion of that highway. Perhaps one day I'll plan to drive the entire length of it.

WHERE'S WALDO???

ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!

Here's my buddy, Debby Taylor. She took off from work on Monday to come spend the day with me. She is as beautiful inside as she is out. We go way back, to her first marriage, to Celestine Prophecy groups, to emotional release work, and she has been one of my biggest supporters in my firewalk workshops.

In this picture, she has taken on the personality of the High Priestess. With the energy of the leopard, she presides over all with her inimitable wisdom.

This is Tish, my ex-mother-law. Her son, Michael, was killed on his motorcycle in December, 2010. She is still working through the reality of this death and even though she is dressed so colorfully, she is extremely sad and lonely. The beautiful scarf around her neck is one I gave her and she loves it. Tish probably doesn't weigh 100 lbs. soaking wet, but she is a sweetheart to me.

I thought this picture was very interesting. From her stance, it appears as if she has created a box around herself, and also around her heart. There is the energy of the crone, but her heart light has been pushed into the very center of her chest. You can see a pinpoint of light directly in the center.

It's now almost 8am. Most of the inside of the camper has been put up and rearranged for my departure. I've seen and called most everyone here in Memphis, and my friend, Bowden, is awaiting my arrival in Macon, Georgia. I affirm for myself "I am safe to travel, and the journey will be exciting as well as comfortable and easy"!!!!

I believe I have the beginning of a plan for August and September. My thought is to find a really nice rv park around Maine and park my camper there so I can travel around that area. So, those of you who have wanted to travel to Maine, think about coming and staying a few days with me, or longer. I look forward to hearing from all of you!!! Blessings and love!!!!

FROM MY HEART TO YOURS!!!!

Yesterday I was talking to my friend, Magnolia Rose Butterfly, who by the way changed her name from Sherry to Magnolia Rose after she walked on fire with me for the first time in 2004. It was my first time facilitating a firewalk workshop and she was in the group of all women. She's been my buddy ever since.

I was telling her about a heart stone Lacy had found on the beach, Saturday, while she was here at the lake. It's the brown stone on the left and you can see how perfect a heart it is.

The other heart stone has a heart within a heart. My twin, Coley, found this stone in Costa Rica. When I saw it, well, I have to admit, I began to covet it. Knowingly I took it on our cruise with us in January hoping to do a cermony with it, but that didn't happen. Unknowingly, when I started unpacking all my boxes and bags as I was settling into my camper, I came upon it in my backpack. I called Coley immediately because we both had looked high and low for it after our trip and just thought someone might have picked it up and forgot to put it back. Well, yeah, I did!!!

Playing around with the symmetricam feature on my phone, I took this picture of the hearts.

And, I like this one. It looks like eyes, nose and mouth!!! I just love playing around with this feature. Mom, I hope you're getting into it now and just letting the images tickle your imagination!!!

These are the last two. My dinner last night. You have to admit, it's very colorful. There are some I'd love to have in a book, just to look at and see what other images I see within these images.

LAST WEEKEND SARDIS LAKE

Saturday night at the lake and my friend, Lacy, has come to visit, to party, and to play games. As all of you know, I love this feature on my phone where I can take a picture of someone or something, and it combines 4 quadrants into one photo. So of course, as you can see, this was part of my fun. This first picture is of Lacy. I just love how it combines the face and you can see the quirkiest of looks and smiles on their "faces".

This is one of my favorites of Lacy. She looks like a Chinese lord and Lacy said "with a onesey shirt on!" Love the crown! This was taken at my dining room table as Lacy sat across from me. Too cool for school!!!! Or whatever!!!

Late afternoon, we were sitting outside watching the clouds and having a drink. The weather had turned from 91 degrees on Friday, to a cool 60 degrees on Saturday, so we both had on heavy socks with sweaters, later I turned the heat on in the camper to take the chill off. As we sat outside, Lacy asked if I had ever made daisy chains. I had not and asked her to show me how. This picture was taken of my badge from work with the daisy chain surrounding both badges and the button on the cornice over the window. I like the way this picture turned out.

Now, you can see the daisy chain. I like the symbolism of the badge surrounded by "peace".

For those of you who haven't seen me at my "best" in my camper garb, well, here it is, on public display for the whole world to see. Lacy has threatened to put one of these pictures on Facebook, so don't be surprised if you see something that looks like this.

Notice the green and white gloves, in fact, you can't miss them!!! I went to a new dermatologist this past week, and she put me on a heavy dose of steroids to help ease the inflammation of the ezcema. I'm on my 3rd day of 9. She also gave me a prescription for a heavier petrolium-type cream and suggested I put it on my hands with cotton gloves and feet, the same way twice a day. These were the only cotton gloves I could find. If you had a picture of my feet, you'd see I also have on blue/yellow/white striped socks. I'm trying to create new fashion looks for the in-crowd RV'ers. I'm not sure if anyone is up for this new fashion look, what do you think? Please send your comments.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I will be pulling out of here on Thursday, the 19th, headed to Macon, Georgia. I'll be there for about 4 days with my best buddy, Bowden and his family. Bowden and his son, Matt, just finished a 10-day vipassana retreat (total silence). It ends today. Can't wait to hear how it went. Once I leave Georgia, I head up to Winston-Salem, North Carolina for a couple of days. I had planned to stay longer, and I may end up in one of the state parks on the 26th, but otherwise, I'll head up to sister, Sandy's, house in Delaware of about 10 days. Anyone want to meander with me, come on!!! Sending love to all!!!

TRIP TO ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI

On Sunday, May 8th (Mother's Day), I headed up North of Memphis to visit with my friends, Jim and Elizabeth in O'Fallon, Missouri. I had seen the news of the flooding along the Mississippi, but this was my first venture across the bridge to West Memphis, Arkansas. The picture to the left, is as I came across the old bridge on I-55, about a mile and a half from the bridge, the water is covering every acre of land. I took this picture out my truck window just as I was getting to Mound City Road which was blocked off due to flooding. The water you see goes clear across to where the new "bridge of lights" is as you travel from I-40 from Memphis. Quite a sight to see, no land for several miles.

On Tuesday, Jim, Elizabeth and I decided to do some sight seeing, and they took me up into some of the wine country. Missouri has become a hot bed for new winerys, so being able to do many wine tastings in one day is very easy to do. I, however, only made it to one. This is a picture from the top of one of the winerys. Off in the distance you can see some light blue areas, that's water. This is around Booneville, Missouri.

This is the entrance to the original Daniel Boone home in Defiance, Missouri. The house is a beautiful white stone, two story mansion with several cabin-type structures just beyond where the main house sits.

Not a great picture of the house, but we did not get out to actually go up to the house. We were really enjoying our beautiful ride. The area around Booneville is lush and green, with rolling hills and some very beautiful, expensive homes, with smaller cabin type homes in near proximity. Quite electic. Loved the area and saw quite a bit of land up for sale.

For the entire 300 and some odd miles up to St. Louis, there was never a time when I was concerned about flooding until I was on my return to Memphis. As I got to the 58 mile marker, I noticed traffic beginning to slow down. As I got closer, I saw highway road crews with flashing lights monitoring this area. It's the only time I saw sand bags and the water was lapping over I-55. This was on Wednesday, yet when I drove up on Sunday afternoon, there was nothing close to this happening.

You can see a little bit better how close to the road the water is.

I have not heard any of my friends having any problems with water levels dangerously high around their homes or their businesses. Thank goodness for that. For all the other thousands of people having to deal with losing their homes and all their possessions, I pray!!

Now, for a little "celestine prophecy" story. I went to see an energy worker last Friday who I have been to see on several occasions. Before I went in for my session, a woman walked out of the room and Kim, my friend, said "I want to introduce you two". She told the woman who I was and that I was the one who had sent the flyers about firewalking. The woman's name is Michelle, and she started to tell me about walking the fire with Tony Robbins and about being in real estate and about an idea she's had for putting a firewalk on for real estate agents as part of a continuing education program they do from January to March. So I asked her if she had a business card, she hands it to me and I notice her name, Michelle Amen. The name "amen" actually originated from Amenhotep, one of the great Pharoahs of Egypt, which my book study has spent some time reading about. It all felt very auspicious to me and I told her I would be in touch, but I would need to find a place to hold the workshop. She then asked what I needed, and I said, land open enough to have a large bonfire and a room to do the workshop in. It turns out one of her good friends has several acres of land in Arlington, just outside of Memphis and Michelle believes she would be agreeable to holding it there.

So, as my circle of friends, I ask each of you to be a vision keeper for me and if this firewalk experience is supposed to work out this fall, hold the vision of it coming together easily, effortlessly and with great joy!!! Perhaps I'll even see some of you there!!!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!

To all my sisters, my Mom, my nieces, great nieces, cousins, and all the other female friends in my life, I say hug yourself today!!! What a beautiful day!!! I've been listening to Abraham-Hicks talk about being in the flow, imagining a river flowing. Are you going upstream, really struggling, trying to make your life work in every aspect, or are you going downstream, letting life flow easily and effortlessly, bringing you to all the things you desire. It's a moment by moment process of paying attention to ALL your thoughts and monitoring whether it's upstream (you feel negative energy, less than loving) or downstream (positive energy, loving) thoughts. This weekend gave me several opportunities to experience the fullness of this exercise. Suffice it to say, I came through with flying colors and all turned out to be relatively easy as you shall read later in this blog.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my friend, Shelia, taken with the symmetricam feature on my phone. Look at that smile, she's a happy camper!!!

Here's my buddy, Shelia, waiting for dinner to finish. We have played a number of games up to this point and we are both really famished. This was her first visit to the new 1435 Madison (on wheels) home. We were supposed to be at the campsite on Friday, but my pet-sitting job got delayed a day. Then when we got to my camper, I had already received a call from Smitty saying the ranger had called about my air-conditioning unit freezing up. I couldn't understand that, since the air-conditioner was turned off, at least I believe it had been. When I stepped up into the camper and I heard this terrible grinding noise I knew what it was...my slide-out had started coming forward and had hit the counter which caused the slide-out to sit on its frame cattywhompus. Immediately went to an upstream thought, "holy sh.., how much is this going to cost me and will I be able to leave by May 19th." Then I called Smitty and said "I need you to come and tell me what to do!!!!!" I told her what had happened and she was as baffled as I was as to how that could have happened. Long story short, (I decided to go downstream, get in the flow again) Shelia and I lit some incense and did some affirmations and blessed my camper while Smitty and her brother looked the situation over. With a little effort, and some muscle power we were able to get the slide-out all the way out and back in. I also found out I could manually bring it in.

Look how beautiful our meal looked, taken in the symmetricam. We had chicken cordon bleu, purple potatoes mased with an herbed sour cream and a beautiful salad. Coley, you would have loved this, it was absolutely delicious!!! If I do say so myself!!!
Time to go. I'm off to St. Louis to visit my friends, Jim and Elizabeth. I'll be back on Wednesday, just in time for book study. Share some love today!!!!!
